Thank you to everyone who voted, volunteered, donated, hosted a sign and sent well wishes to the campaign. Due to your support I will now represent Ward 1 on the Sparks City Council. In case you missed the results, I received 20,188 votes compared to 10,068 for my opponent - a 66.72% to 33.28% margin.

Team Ratti knocked on our last doors today and we're getting ready for Election Day tomorrow. I'm sure I won't be the first or the last to remind you that if you haven't voted, please make it to the polls tomorrow between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. This exciting (and long) election season is only a success if you participate and your voice is heard.

We'll be at the Great Basin Brewery and Restaurant from 6:30 - 9 p.m. on Tues. Nov. 4. Please stop by for a short visit or the entire evening. We'll be watching results and celebrating the end of the campaign season. The Great Basin is located at 846 Victorian Ave. right on Victorian Square. James and I made it to the polls on Wednesday and cast our vote at the Sparks Library on 12th Street. We arrived at 5:30 and did not have to wait in line. It was exciting to see my name on the ballot and we had fun casting out votes. Now it's your turn. If you haven't done so already, please consider early voting.
