Building on the Promise of Sparks

I'm running to build on the promise of Sparks. I grew up here and I love living here. I want to make sure Sparks stays a place where we all want to work, live and play. Please vote for me to represent Ward 1 on the Sparks City Council.

Safe Neighborhoods. Strong Community. Healthy Economy.

The promise of Sparks is about safe neighborhoods, a strong sense of community and a healthy economy. We need safe neighborhoods for our kids, our seniors and all Sparks families. A strong community has a balance of parks, recreation, shopping, jobs and community gathering places - places where you feel at home. To maintain our strong sense of community we need to build smart, plan for families, plan for neighborhoods and plan for business. To have a healthy economy we need to revitalize the downtown core, support our strong industrial sector, foster a healthy small buiness environment and show off the unique character of Sparks.

As your City Council Representative I will...

• Keep your family safe by making sure police and fire departments have the resources they need
• Invest in parks, recreation and programs for kids, families and seniors
• Help create a downtown of which we can all be proud
• Manage growth to balance development and infrastructure with the traditions of open space and tight-knit community
• Work to protect the citizens of Sparks and our business community from flooding
