Thank you to everyone who voted, volunteered, donated, hosted a sign and sent well wishes to the campaign. Due to your support I will now represent Ward 1 on the Sparks City Council. In case you missed the results, I received 20,188 votes compared to 10,068 for my opponent - a 66.72% to 33.28% margin.

Swearing In and First Council Meeting Monday (tomorrow!) at 3 p.m.

Now the real work begins. I will be sworn in at 3 p.m. on Monday, November 10 in Council Chambers at City Hall. Please join us if you'd like to be there in person or you can also watch online or on television. Tune into SNCAT Channel 15 or visit http://www.ci.sparks.nv.us/about/sctv/ to watch it online. You can choose to watch it live, or if you aren't available at 3 p.m., you can watch it on demand at your convenience by choosing the November 10 Special Meeting.
